Vivo has extended the warranty service for its customers in India by 30 days. The warranty extension is for all Vivo devices, although it is not available to all customers and
is limited to customers living in a lockdown area.
If the warranty of your Vivo smartphone was about to expire and you are living in a city where there is a lockdown due to increase in Corona virus cases then you will be able to take advantage of the warranty extension of your Vivo smartphone. The company said that this policy will remove the concerns of all those customers who could not go to the service center to avail the service due to the lockdown.
Not all Vivo customers will get the benefit of the warranty extension
Vivo has said in a press statement that the 30-day warranty extension will be calculated from the day the service centers start working again. If the expiry date of the product warranty, the replacement period or the expiry date of another offer falls under the lockdown period, the customer will get an extension of 30 days from that day. This means that all Vivo customers will not be able to get warranty extension benefits for their device as it will be available according to product warranty or expiry date.
Recently, Poco also extended the warranty for two months. Earlier
this week, Poco also announced that it has extended the warranty of its phone in India by two months. However, this extension has been applied to all Poco customers in the country whose product warranty was to expire in the months of May and June.
